rodolfo valentin reviewsHi:
I was wondering if you could pass this note on to Rodolfo. Please feel free to use it as a very positive review on your website or elsewhere.
Dear Rodolfo,
I was at your salon on 2/8/13 for a hair extension consultation and then on 2/15/13 for the extensions to be applied. As you might remember, I underwent 20 weeks of chemotherapy and ended my treatments at the end of July. While the chemotherapy treatments were grueling and made me feel sick all of the time, the most difficult part for me to deal with was the loss of my hair. Every day when I looked in the mirror, I would think about my diagnosis and how sick the chemo made me feel. Even after the chemo ended, I felt weaker than I actually was because my extremely short hair was a constant reminder of sickness. I wanted to feel like I was on the road to recovery, but instead I was feeling sad, insecure and self-conscious about my appearance. I wore a wig, but it was uncomfortable and always felt like it needed to be positioned differently. It also looked faked to me.
My daughter actually found you when searching the internet. I have generally been very upbeat and positive through this entire ordeal, but she knew that the one thing that brought me down had to wait for my hair to grow back. When she read all of your positive reviews, she thought that they might possibly be fake, “because how could all reviews be so utterly positive and exceptional.” I now know why. Your salon is professional and welcoming. Your staff is so courteous and you can tell how they seem to get along and how they love and respect you. Everyone walks out of your place with a smile, feeling pampered and looking fantastic. My only hope was to walk out with hair on my head that I could go to sleep with and wake up with. Well not only do I have that, but my hair is thick, incredibly styled and so natural looking that no one would ever know I have extensions. It really is so much better than my hair was before chemotherapy. What you have done for me is truly life changing because I no longer feel sick or look sick and once again I feel “normal.” I just wanted you to know what a difference you have made in my life. – So THANK YOU! I attached a picture from that day 🙂
Congratulations on being the Talk of The Town 2013 salon winner. A well-deserved honor.
Best Regards,
Tracey Tsontakis
